When Best Of The Best needed stunning displays to help promote their fabulous prizes available to Travellers visiting Manchester Airport, they turned to MVS.
Working closely with fitting out contractors Fit-Out-Leisure, MVS supplied and installed the high quality commercial systems including the Panasonic professional Plasma displays, Bose loudspeakers and NEC 32″ Touch Screen units. Each Touch Screen operates from its own dedicated computer system and is linked to the USB port using Cat5 cabling with signal converters to overcome the problems that can be caused by excessive cable distances.
The images are a minimum of XGA resolution and MVS used high quality cabling and signal amplifiers to obtain a perfect display on every screen.
Following the success of MVS’ installation at Terminal 1, Best of The Best then asked MVS to supply and install the A-V systems for Terminal 2 – the layout of the stand required a large bright display to catch the attention of passers-by.With such high ambient light levels, correctly specifying an appropriate Projector and Projection Screen package was crucial.
An EIKI X85 capable of projecting at 7000 ANSI Lumens projects an image onto a Screen International high-contrast screen – “the final result looks stunning!”
Best Of The Best plc was founded in 2000 and has given away over £8million of supercars and other prizes to over 200 lucky winners. Best of the Best operates from all major UK airports and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Their head office is in South West London and they employ over 90 people.
