MVS Home Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic, technical sales person to join the team.

The position requires an individual with the drive and passion to generate and close new business throughout the South of England concentrating specifically on Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Surrey and Central London.

The suitable candidate will require a proven track record in selling high-end audiovisual systems such as Home Cinema, Multiroom Audio and Video, Lighting Control systems and Home Automation packages. MVS are also able to offer customers security packages and the full electrical installation. Working alongside an established and successful sales team the role will include developing and maintaining trade relationships with builders, developers and architects.

Candidates will require the following:-

• Full UK Driving License
• Experience selling domestic Audio Visual systems
• Familiar with the wide range of products available in the industry
• Cedia Accreditation (Desirable)

MVS requires a Sales Engineer to quantify and price Audio Visual and CCTV installations.

You will be responsible for pricing work for several key accounts which are national retail chains in line with there roll out and refurbishment programme, as well as pricing adhoc and miscellaneous projects. You will need to be from a commercial Audio Visual and CCTV background and be able to calculate labour requirements and installations costs as well as having a strong product knowledge in these fields.

You will need the following skills:

• Proven track history in quantifying labour requirements
• Ability to read and work from scale drawings
• Product and design knowledge in CCTV and Audio Visual solutions
• Experience on commercial CCTV and AV installations
• Understanding of cable types and installation consumables
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer facing and ability to determine customer requirements
• Travel to customer sites as and when required
• Good Admin and organisation skills
• Computer literate
• Sales and commercial acumen
• Interface with other departments
